The Board of Health is committed to involving the community in determining what public health programs and services are needed in Simcoe County and the District of Muskoka. People are encouraged to speak with health unit staff about their health issues and concerns. Individuals and groups can also present their issues or concerns directly to the Board of Health. In order to be included on the board agenda, written information must be sent to the Medical Officer of Health at least seven days before the board meeting. If you wish to present information to the board, contact the Medical Officer of Health at least seven days before the meeting to arrange time on the agenda. Keep the presentation to 10 minutes or less. All requests to present at board meetings must be approved by the Board of Health Chairperson.
