Recreational Camps

As outlined in Ontario Regulation 503/17: Recreational Camps, all operators of recreational camps are required to:

  • Notify public health 14 days in advance of operating each season. You can do that by completing the Notice of Opening Form; and
  • Submit a camp safety plan.

In addition to reviewing Ontario Regulation 503/17, operators are advised to review the Safety Plan Requirements when developing a camp safety plan and any associated policies and procedures.
