The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit is pleased to announce that its newly renovated Barrie Clinic located at 80 Bradford St. is once again open as of June 5.
SIMCOE MUSKOKA – The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit is pleased to announce that its newly renovated Barrie Clinic located at 80 Bradford St. is once again open as of June 5. The clinic temporarily closed in September 2022 to undergo renovations that were made possible through a one-time Ontario Seniors Dental Care Program infrastructure improvement grant received from the Ministry of Health. Renovations included the expansion of the Dental Clinic space and relocation of the Sexual Health Clinic within the suite and the addition of a dedicated public entrance to the Sexual Health Clinic.
With the renovations complete, the following services are available at 403-80 Bradford:
Sexual Health/Harm Reduction:
- The Sexual Health Clinic is open from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday. The new public entrance is located by the ramp beside St. John’s Ambulance.
- Sexual Health Clinic appointments can be booked by calling Health Connection at 1-877-721-7520.
- Needle Exchange program supplies, naloxone kits and Sexual Health Clinic services are available on a walk-in basis. Needle Exchange program supplies are also available at 80 Bradford from the Gilbert Centre in Suite 525 and the John Howard Society in Suite 228.
Dental Clinic:
- Dental Clinic and screening services for publicly funded programs including Healthy Smiles Ontario and the Ontario Seniors Dental Care Program are available by appointment at 80 Bradford.
