The City of Orillia's climate future encompasses actions and planning that the City is undertaking to reduce their environmental impact and strengthen the communities' resilience to climate change.
City of Barrie Climate Change Adaptation Strategy

The City of Barrie created a climate change adaptation strategy which aims
to increase resiliency and adaptive capacity to changing climate. The
adaptation strategy (currently still in draft format) identifies climate
projections for the city, physical, social, ecological, and economic impacts
of climate change, and outlines the process the city took to identify
priority actions they will be implementing to increase community resiliency
to climate change.
Planning for Climate Change in Muskoka

The Planning for Climate Change in Muskoka report identifies projected
impacts due to climate change for the District of Muskoka. It provides a
snapshot of what the climate of Muskoka may look like mid-century, and
examines impacts to aquatic environments (lakes, rivers, streams, and
wetlands), forests, and lifestyle (recreation, infrastructure, and health).
Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Authority
Conservation authorities in Ontario are responsible for flood risk
mitigation and watershed monitoring. This section of the NVCA website
discusses the impact of climate change on the local watershed.
Sustainable Severn Sound
A collaboration of seven municipalities in the Severn Sound area, the
Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit, Severn Sound Environmental Association,
and North Simcoe Community Futures Development Corporation.
