  • You consent to respect the privacy of others by keeping personal information shared at the SMDHU classes confidential.
  • You respect the uniqueness and opinions of those present.
  • You can protect your privacy by participating from a private space - check your surroundings before logging on with the awareness that others in the chat can see you and your surroundings. SMDHU staff will also be in a private space when they are in contact with you.
  • You agree that you will not take pictures or make recordings during the session.

Meeting tips:

  • Do not forward the meeting invitation to others. All participants must be registered.
  • The room will open 15 minutes before class starts. You will be placed in a waiting room when you join the meeting and will be admitted before the class begins. The class will start promptly at the scheduled time.
  • We strongly encourage cameras on during the class. Cameras on help with class engagement.
  • Please remember to turn cameras off while attending to personal needs.
  • You can join us on your smart phone but if you can log on from a larger screen (i.e. tablet or computer) you will get the best view.
  • The gallery view is a great way to see the most people on the screen at once. It is the icon with several squares.
  • Please use ‘Raise your Hand’ feature to ask questions or share your ideas. There will be many opportunities for open discussion.
